We have just been given a last minute opportunity to run a Photoshop course at Holton Lee. This eight week course is designed for either the complete novice, or those who have a basic familiarity with either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements but want to consolidate their understanding and skills, and will allow you to tackle any common photography digital editing task. You will need to have your own laptop with a copy of either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements installed.
This is really very short notice – we only discovered the room was available yesterday – so details are still being worked up, and will follow in the next 24 hours. However, we plan for eight weeks, 3 hours sessions (Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm to 4.30pm), starting this coming Saturday 8th October 2011. We want to keep the price to around £240 for the complete course, which works out at £30 per half day. If numbers are higher than planned (maximum class size will be 10) this price will drop.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can if you are interested – it will help finalise the planning. Very short notice – but this seemed an opportunity not to be missed, and a way to carry on developing your photographic skills as the light gets in ever shorter supply over the autumn months (not that there seems any sign of autumn outside my Swanage window just now!).
We also plan to fit in a one day Introduction to Lightroom workshop, again at Holton Lee, probably during half term week, as well as one or two more practical photography days to catch those autumn colours, both in Purbeck and the New Forest. Details to follow.
For those that prefer, remember we also offer 1:1 training in post processing software, as well as in camera skills – delivered as 1 day workshops. Between us we have extensive experience of Photoshop (from early steam driven versions up to CS5), Bridge, Lightroom, Aperture, etc, as well as Indesign, Dreamweaver, Expressions Web and the like.
