A useful location for small practical camera skill workshops – on the same site as the Boilerhouse Gallery in Corfe Castle, it has access to 1950s light industrial architecture, the countryside, Corfe’s bijou little heritage railway station, and there’s a big castle too if that takes your fancy…
Drive from Wareham on the Corfe Castle road A351. As you come down the hill towards the base of the castle mound, look out for the National Trust Visitor Centre, and then the road to Studland on your left – keep going straight. As the road starts to climb and bend around to the right, you will see another left turning, set between two pairs of cottages – take this road, and then turn right immediatey after the the railway bridge. The gallery is at the end of the track opposite Corfe Railway Station.
Tea and coffee making facilities will be provided, and there is a good bakery in the village. Mobile coverage can be variable; we can usually arrange wifi access if needed.
