A practical session to improve your image management and storage, and basic photo editing using Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture or similar. This is a vital part of digital photography that makes the difference between efficient storage and retrieval, and the sort of day when you know you have an image somewhere but have no chance of finding it short of looking at every single file on your hard drive... Sound familiar? This course is really designed for those with their own laptop - so you get to practice with your own software and images - but talk to us if you don't have this - we might have one or two spare laptops for the day. We will start the day with an hour's photography around the fishermen's huts to provide a small body of images to work with. Please bring everything you need to load images to a computer - card reader, cable, etc. Please note mobile coverage is limited in the valley. Facilities are fairly limited, so you will need to bring a packed lunch and something to drink. Cost is £95 per person, as usual we need you to book in advance. This would be a good follow up workshop for the Introduction to Digital SLR if you are new to digital photography... |
