Saturday 24th September 2011: Kimmeridge - Introduction to Digital SLR PDF Print E-mail
Another of our popular Introduction to the DSLR courses at Kimmeridge.  Part class room exploration of your camera's controls, part photographic tour of this fabulous bay - the only west facing bit of the Purbeck coast, this workshop is intended for new owners of Digital SLR cameras - or if you have had your DSLR for a while and are still using it on auto-everything!  This might also be a good choice if you are making the move from film to digital, or have had a film SLR in the past.
For 2011 we have decided to split this important first step in managing your camera into two parts - there is simply too much to cover, and too much to take in, in one day.  This first day covers an overview of the core camera controls of aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings, and more importantly how to use these controls not just to manage exposure but also for creative effect.
We are based in the DWT Marine Centre classroom, to the east of the beach.

Course times from 10 through to about 5.00pm, and cost is £95 per person.  Facilities are fairly limited, so you will need to bring a packed lunch - we will have tea and coffee available.

You can book by email - we look forward to hearing from you!
