21st August 2010 - Landscape - Tyneham and Warbarrow Bay PDF Print E-mail
We return to explore this jewel of the Purbeck coast. You may know it for the abandoned village and target-practice tanks, but the views along the coast from the top of Worbarrow Tout are stunning. If the tide permits, the chalk rocks at the western end of the beach have a sculptural quality that looks great in black and white...

This workshop will include composition and technical tuition - an ideal way to embed the skills learned during our  Introduction to DSLR  course - but would also suit  newcomers to digital photography.

Start time will be confirmed closer to the workshop to make the most of the tide, but probably around 9am; we will meet in the car park by the village.  Come prepared for rough ground and some walking - the path up to the top of the cliffs is quite steep, and the beach is mainly large shingle.  Please note mobile coverage is limited in the valley. Facilities are fairly limited, so you will need to bring a packed lunch and something to drink.

Cost is £95 per person. Please book first by email - we look forward to hearing from you!
