Durlston Country Park

On the cliffs just to the west of Swanage, Durlston Country Park has orchid meadows and sea bird rich cliffs to tempt landscape and wildlife photographer alike.

Rocky cliffs and foreshore, a lighthouse, the outside chance of dolphins off the coast, and a range of sea birds that can extend from gannet to puffin – though we make no promises!

Durlston Castle has completed its rebuild as the main visitor centre at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast.  We are still waiting to hear if we can use the old classroom facilities before they are in turn knocked down and re-fashioned – in the meantime we hope to offer practical workshops without classroom time.
